Bold and Brave Wednesday: Painted My Hair!!

Its hump day babes! I got my hair painted!!!

I am speechless. I found @hairbybrit on Instagram, and knew I had to see her immediately. Well she is popular my friends so immediately was a few weeks away. I was so nervous yesterday before I got it done. I was freakin out. You guys need to understand I have only really colored my hair like twice before. Once in the 7th grade and once a year ago! Hence my nerves. I finally got to my hair appointment and she was AMAZING. I told her my concerns and she was like heck if you hate it I can tone it darker and everything will be OKAY. To explain my feelings most accurately I would say this: I LOVE HER. If you live in SLC I strongly recommend Britny!!

Longline Vest

Oh hey guys!! I hope you all had a great weekend! We went and saw Mad Max and honestly I knew nothing about it. I don't think I even saw a preview for it. At first I was like "this is some weird shiz going on here" and then after I warmed up to it I was like "OKAY. I am buzzing my hair and want to be Charlize Theron!!!" She was freaking amazing in it!!! The whole movie had amazing strong female characters and I loved it.

Onto another subject I am coloring my hair tomorrow. This is probably no big deal to most people but I have only colored my hair one other time and that was exactly one year ago!!! I am thinking of going super blonde...*Panic* I even thought about going silver...okay people I know you are thinking GREY? Don't do that Kephren. (At least that is what my mom said haha!) So I am not going grey. But changes are coming. Steven is my number one fan so he was like "go platinum, if you hate it go back the next week and go dark! Who cares?!" {in my mind I'm like I CARE!!!} So here is your warning everyone! If you hate the next photos you can post your complaints in the comment section below.

Final Subject: This vest is awesome and its from Forever 21. I went in there the other day.. (I know I walked in and wasn't overwhelmed!!!) and seriously found some AMAZING STUFF. So prepare yourself for that!!! Anyway, I FREAKING LOVE YOU GUYS! Have a great Monday!!!

Fitness Friday: Love Who You Are

*I self tanned for you guys so I didn't have pasty white skin, and for heaven freakin sakes I got a mosquito bite on the back of my knee and apparently my itching got the best of me HAHA

I (almost always) look in the mirror and think negative things about myself. "I know I would be happier if I could just get a flat stomach." "I hate myself for eating that stupid cookie" That really is the main reason why Mr. Stevie made me even start this blog. Force me to see what I can't see when I am looking in the mirror.  I thought it was so embarrassing to start a blog. Post pictures of myself. Wonder what people think about me. But I really think it has been so refreshing to really start loving exactly who I am. Love exactly who you are people. It's worth it. I promise. 

On a lighter note:

Can someone also answer this one for me: Why spend like 50 bucks at Lululemon for one tank top when I can go spend 20 bucks at Victoria's Secret, not feel like a fat lard, and save some monies?!? Victoria Secret for the win my friends.

I am also not kidding you when I say these sandals are the best $22 dollars I have EVER spent. They are AMAZING. Not only that but I have worn them several different places and tons of people have asked me where I got them and are shocked to find out how inexpensive they are! WOOT WOOT!

Striped Summer Dress

Hello Everyone! I hope you all had an amazing weekend! So I have totally failed to mention how over the moon I am about the new blog design!! I wanted to do something simple, but have my favorite colors, and have some of my personality shine through.  I found Erin through another blog I follow and I can not thank her enough. She was so responsive (I am not the best at describing what I want) but she was so patient and I swear she could read my mind. She did such a fabulous job. I hope you guys like it too! 

I recently got this dress from Old Navy and I know I will be wearing it all summer long. It is so comfortable, and light weight. Two must haves in my book! It is very disturbing to me because it was only 86 degrees on Saturday and I literally felt like I was in the desert melting away. What am I going to do in July when its 100 degrees?? Start posting naked blog posts thats what. (I would probably get a lot more readers, or a lot less readers HAHA I am sure it would be a lot less!!!) Fitness Friday: Hustle

YOU GUYS. 

I didn't post on Wednesday. Excuse me while I shed a tear.

Seriously though. I am super upset I didn't get to it on Wednesday. Lets just say this week has been insane. Tuesday mid-day I got a phone call saying that I needed to go the ER to pick up my 92 year old best friend/older version of me, great aunt! If anyone needs a fashion blog up in here it is HER. She is the freaking most beautiful, stylish 92 year old I have ever met. Back to the whole ER thing: she is totally fine, a false alarm shall we say. Her daughter caught the flu so I did my best to help out. I spent the night at her house and lets just say 92 year old people don't see a need for WIFI. haha! We spent the night talking and it was so fun to be with her. Needless to say I did not get my post up. 

As an explanation for these pictures: I took them myself. Seriously though this week has been INSANE. Steven has been so busy, I have been so busy. I tried my best to make this work. My phone is ancient so sorry about the quality. I'd like to make a special shout out to the garbage can I propped my phone on to take the top photo! What can I say I'm a classy girl.

Today I wanted to share my everyday makeup routine! This is super minimal. Don't get me wrong I love me a good wing liner and fake lashes, but aint nobody got time for that in the morning. Especially when you oversleep and are scrambling to look decent! I just wanted to stick with the basics for this post! Fitness Friday: The Mullet Shirt

I apologize for my pasty white body. Shame on me for not breaking out my self tanner. You guys. I flippin love this shirt. It reminds me of a mullet. Business in front, PARTY in the back. It is the perfect shirt for summer, not to mention the price is AMAZING. Thank you Old Navy for being my best friend!!! Whenever I run in the summer I would like to be running in nothing. But nobody wants to see a naked Kephren running through their neighborhood. If you are confident enough to run in your sports bra and no shirt, by all means do it! Flaunt it ladies. I am not that way. So this shirt is the perfect compromise. Its allows great airflow, plus it covers up the twins if you know what I'm saying.

Bold and Brave Wednesday: White, Gold, and Turquoise

Guys, tell me these nails aren't awesome. If my post is short and/or has spelling errors lets blame it on them. I saw an Instagram photo of white nails and I knew I had to try them out. Bless Steven's heart on Friday night he was like "I want a pedicure." I strongly encourage you all to find men in your lives who seek out pedicures. It will benefit you greatly. Just like that we yelped a good nail salon in Provo and the rest is history! (It literally has taken me twice as long to write this as normal haha) I never have had nails this long. Reason #1 being this is probably the 5th time IN MY LIFE I have ever had fake nails because I play the harp. Nails make it impossible to play. Reason #2 which I only found out the day after I got these is that I can not do anything. I can't untie my freaking shoes without help.  I couldn't get my credit card out of my wallet! haha maybe that is a good thing though? Less spending money? Typing is a struggle, putting your bra on is a struggle..I mean it goes on and on. I see girls with longer nails than mine and they survive!! Time. I just need time!
