GUYS. Where have I been? I DON'T EVEN KNOW. The last two weeks have been from you know where. (If you are thinking heaven you are incorrect.) School started which is every weekday except Fridays, I had the worst cold of my life, work was insanely busy..THEN to top it all off. I PASSED A KIDNEY STONE?!?!? I promise I wouldn't make this stuff up. To say I am a big mess is an understatement. So is my house.
Do you want to hear my kidney stone story? Ok I'll tell ya.
I woke up at two o'clock in the morning Sunday. {After watching an incredible BYU football game holy crap} I had been asleep about an hour, and woke up suddenly, feeling like I had to go number 1. tinkle? pee? I'm not sure what is politically correct. This whole story is probably not politically correct. Anyway, I sit down and you know start to relieve myself when all of the sudden THE WORST PAIN I HAVE FELT IN MY ENTIRE LIFE came upon me. {I exaggerate a lot, however this is NOT an exaggeration.} I collapsed on the bathroom ground I was in so much pain. I couldn't even speak. {Steven bless his heart is sound asleep} My whole body started dripping sweat, DRIPPING PEOPLE. I am not kidding I would have rather broken my arm than gone through the pain of a kidney stone. After what felt like three days, but was only about 20 minutes LOL I finally got myself up off the ground bawling at this point and I wake Steven up and told him I collapsed on the bathroom ground. LOL He thought I hit my head on the ground. haha I try and explain what is going on through his half asleep half awake brain. He was like lets get you to a hospital, I'm like NO WAY am I going to a hospital if needles are involved. Steven got me some Advil, and by this point the pain had gone down quite a bit. I fell back asleep after about two hours. That day I knew we were going to see our uncle who is a urologist here in Utah. Praise the heavens for knowing awesome people!! He saved my life, and got me in for a scan Monday. Is technology not the most amazing thing?!?! After getting the results, I did in fact pass a freakin kidney stone!! I also have a little stone still in my kidney, but hopefully if I drink a lot of water it will go away in a not so painful way. oh man I love this story so much. It was not funny at the time, but now it is just awesome.
Pro's of this story: Apparently I got lucky and the pain only lasted a few minutes compared to most people which is DAYS.
Con's of this story: People compare passing a kidney stone to giving birth. I mean I was already scared to ever think about giving birth but this pain was TERRIBLE.
BLESS ALL YOU MOTHERS OUT THERE, AND ANY KIDNEY STONE VICTIMS.
Moral of the story: DRINK MORE WATER.
