Bold and Brave Wednesday: Hippie Trend

Okay guys. Lets talk about dressing outside of our comfort zone. For the longest time I have wanted to try new trends but I really just was not Brave enough. Why is that?! Why do we always hold ourselves back?! Am I the only one that does this?
In all honesty I feel like I hold myself back in a lot of things.
 Like this blog for example. This blog is me being Bold and Brave.
I over think almost everything, I wonder what other people will think.
Somedays I am like "Who even cares what other people think?!" and then other days I am like "Holy crap I care what every single person in the world thinks." hahaha

I have always secretly wanted to be a hippie. I think that desire comes from my dad who I swear is a hippie. Consequently, I thought I would start out my Bold and Brave series with the Festival/Hippie trend that is happening this spring! First of all these pants are awesome. Secondly they are LONG! That is saying something for me! These would be so cute paired with wedges if I were a tad bit shorter. The sandals I am wearing though are out of this world. I love the gold detail on the front edge. I will definitely be wearing them all summer long.
I have to say I normally dress a little more preppy, but it was so fun to do something different for a change. We all need to break out of that box that we put ourselves in!
