Happy Friday Everyone!
I thought it would be fun to share my go to protein shake. I make it at least twice a day as one of my six meals. I usually make it as I am heading out the door to go to work, and at night before bed.
Ingredients:
1. Protein powder of your choice! I like V-Core Milk Chocolate
2. Ice Cubes 3-4
3. Unsweetened Almond Milk/Skim Milk
4. PB2 (You can find this at Target)/ Natural Peanut Butter
^^Totally optional!^^
In the small bowl is milk chocolate sugar free fat free pudding mix, white is great too!
Guys I swear you can't even taste the spinach.
Trust me, I didn't believe it either until someone gave me a drink with spinach in it and I had no idea!
Place all the ingredients in the blender or blender bottle
Add milk and blend until smooth!
BOOM.
You now have a delicious, and healthy Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein Shake!!!
Now if you know me you know I am a pretty picky eater. This last year I have been trying to branch out and do my best at tasting new things. The old Kephren would have been like "EW. Peanut butter that is powder? Spinach? Chalky protein powder? Almond Milk? NO." But the new Kephren has embraced tasting things and finding out that they maybe aren't so bad after all...
I am quickly learning that it is small, simple, healthy changes that make a huge difference!
I know some people have a hard time with how much protein powder costs, but if you break it down it really isn't that expensive. $1.50 for an entire meal is good in my book!
